First Roller Derby Bout in France

That's it, we've done it and it was a real success!!! On the 4th of July 2010, after training for months, we've organized the first french Roller Derby bout during a big art event.

We've joined the rare teams dwelling in France: Toulouse, Paris and the others arising: Pau, Lyon, Rennes...
Only a part of the Toulouse team could make the trip. There were 6 rollergirls, 4 refs and their coach. As they were Rookies, we've divided the bout in 4 quater time each during 15min. We've also gave 3 of our girls to Toulouse in order to balance the game. Only the last quarter was a real bout between Bordeaux and Toulouse. The audience was huge and enthusiastic, the girls gave their best. Final score: Bordeaux 110 - Toulouse 98. We were all so proud of the way this event goes. Next bout next autumn...
